You’ve gotten a rad tattoo from Melissa!
…now what?

You just got tattooed by Melissa at Mo Ink. Hell yeah. Now let’s make sure that masterpiece heals up right.

Your tattoo may be forever, but the healing process is temporary—and important. Treat it right, and you’ll stay sharp for life.

PHASE 1: The Bandage Life

Leave medical adhesive bandage on for 3-4 days. We know you want to sneak a peek, but patience pays off. That wrap is keeping germs out and good vibes in.

PHASE 2: Wash and Moisturize Like You Mean It

When it’s time to unveil the goods:

  • Gently wash your tattoo by hand 2 to 3 times a day using unscented, antibacterial soap.

  • Pat it dry with a clean towel. No rubbing, no scraping, no nonsense.

  • Apply unscented Lubriderm or Melissa’s own handcrafted aftercare cream. (Yes, it’s legit. Ask around.)

PHASE 3: Week Two and Onward

Keep it going. Continue using unscented Lubriderm or Melissa’s cream to keep the skin happy and hydrated. You’re in the home stretch—don’t slack off now.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT:

  • Soak your tattoo. No baths, no hot tubs, no pools, no lakes, no rivers. Not even a kiddie pool.

  • Bake it in the sun. No tanning until it’s fully healed.

  • And for the love of Pete, don’t pick, peel, or scratch. Yes, it itches. No, you can’t touch it.
